Why ST1

Mike Sinclair started Slappy to build the truck he could never buy: more grind clearance, a smoother turn, and a kingpin that stays out of the way of the grind. That is the whole ST1 design brief, and every version of it - Classic, Hollow, Hollow Light, Inverted, Ultra Low, Wide - is a different answer to the same question.

Get the size right

Match the axle to your deck width and the wheels sit under the rails where they belong. The Slappy truck size chart settles it in thirty seconds. Hollow builds cut weight; inverted and ultra low kingpins drop the center of gravity and clean up the grind.

Every ST1 is covered by the Slappy warranty - and if a question is not in the FAQ, the contact page reaches an actual person.
